We all have our shares of responsibiities and tasks, and as a Christian, it is imperative that you aways see the distinction of the righteous and the wicked, in such a way that you would know who to approach and lead the way back to the cross. Just tonight, I experienced something fulfilling, bringing somebody back to Christ.
There is an event in our ministry, Doulos for Christ, which is called Conquest. It is a massive evangelical movement wherein all members will have the opportunity to share and return lost lives back to the path by using the Word of God. Being a part of the ministry, I took the opportunity to help somebody, because I know that a single soul is precious to God.
Last night, as I was preparing for the upcoming conquest, God talked to me. I was seeking guidance and tips from God regarding the upcoming event and I decided not to stop reading the bible and tlaking to God until He give me something that I could share with my fellow Churchmates. After minutes of reading, I came to Luke 6:39 “…can a blind man lead a blind man? Will they not both fall into a pit?”. Reading this verse, something came up into me..
This is really true. Many Christians and believers feel the need to mobilize because they need to. It is sad but true, sometimes we people tend to do something because circumstances force us, thus making us ineffective and unfruitful. The verse in Luke says that a blind man cannot lead a blind man. In the conquest, could you win lost souls if yours is not yet won? Maybe you have been won some other time but if I ask you now, are you READY and WILLING to serve GOD’s PURPOSE? There are many circumstances that will hinder us from this great battle but it is still up to us if we would remove the clouds in our minds and souls andsurge forward to the battle. Continuing the verse, it says that both would fall into a pit. This says that if you have a wrong heart for a good purpose, you will not only lead yourself to something dark, but the people you are trying to have contact as well.
Bottomline, let us fix ourselves. Fix in the sense that will let us dwell in God’s presense. Let us ask God for guidance and strength always. LEt us do this for HIM and HIM alone, not for something or somebody else. Remember that you are God’s warriors! WE ARE GOD’S WARRIORS!
Now, look at me. Are you willing to lead my soul back to the rightoeus path?
God bless everyone!! Good evening!
